The Idaho Board of Health and Welfare will hold it regularly scheduled quarterly meeting on Thursday, May 10, in the 10th floor conference room of the Pete T. Cenarrusa Building, 450 West State St. in Boise. The meeting is scheduled from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Two national experts on children’s immunizations are available for media interviews at Idaho Falls, Boise and Coeur d’Alene next week as part of the state’s annual Shots Smarts immunization conferences.  Dr. Melinda Wharton from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, and Dr. Wendy Sue Swanson, a pediatrician who writes the ‘Seattle Mama Doc’ blog, are keynote speakers for the immunization conferences.

People interested in working to implement policy and environmental changes to support active living in their communities are invited to a free workshop in Boise on Thursday, Nov. 10 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Boise State University in the Jordan Ballroom.
