Idaho Child Support Services for Families

Child Support Services

By helping parents meet their obligations, Child Support Services enhances the well-being of children, promotes positive parental involvement, and improves the self-sufficiency of families. Child Support Services can help make sure children receive financial and medical support from both parents in a variety of ways.

Child Support Services Can Help You:

  • Locate the other parent;
  • Establish a legal relationship (paternity) between a child and his/her father;
  • Establish child support obligations;
  • Make sure child support is paid;
  • Make sure medical support is provided; and
  • Get a child support order changed.

Are you an employer?
Resources are available to you on the Child Support Partners page.

The Employer Website is HERE!

and the focus study is now available!

If you have already signed up to be part of the study, you can go directly to the website screenshots and questionnaire.

If you have not yet signed up to participate in the focus group, it will only take 30 seconds of your time to complete the SIGN-UP form.

What IS the employer website? The employer website will be a place where an employer can register for an account and respond to and manage Idaho Income Withholding Orders (IWO) and National Medical Support Notices (NMSN) online. We envision giving you the tools to reduce paper consumption and the lag time typical in processing these documents via mail. The employer website will ultimately cut down on the amount of time it takes to get funds to Idaho’s children while reducing costs for you.

Do I have to have employees to participate? No. While having some experience with IWO and NMSN is helpful, it is not required. We truly want a wide spectrum of feedback from everyone and anyone who’s interested.

What do I have to do? After you have signed up and followed the link to the focus group study, you will be presented with screenshots of the website that’s still in the design phase, and questions seeking your opinion on the design and functionality.  Then simply click “Submit Form”.

Your help in this study is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your participation!
