The goal of the Idaho HIV Prevention Program is to prevent the spread of HIV. The Family Planning, STD and HIV Programs partner and contract with District Health Departments and community-based organizations to provide HIV prevention activities and interventions. Some partners even provide free HIV testing.
The CDC has released information about HIV in older adults.
Vision for the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS):
“The United States will become a place where new HIV infections are rare and when they do occur, every person, regardless of age, gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or socio-economic circumstance, will have unfettered access to high quality, life-extending care, free from stigma and discrimination."
