2013-2014 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine
The Idaho Immunization Program will be supplying the 2013-2014 seasonal pediatric influenza vaccine to all active Vaccines for Children (VFC) providers.  The 2013-2014 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Survey must be completed and returned to the Idaho Immunization Program (IIP) by Monday, March 11, 2013, if your office plans to order 2013-2014 seasonal influenza vaccine from the IIP.

Do not privately purchase pediatric influenza vaccine for the 2013-2014 season.  The cost of pediatric vaccines funded by the Idaho Immunization Assessment will not be reimbursed by health insurance carriers for Idaho children.

Adding Inventory to IRIS
Beginning Monday, January 7, 2013, no vaccine inventory will need to be manually entered into IRIS.  Varivax and ProQuad vaccine will not need to be manually added to your inventory.  All vaccine shipments should be accepted through the manage transfers screen in IRIS.

How to accept a shipment into IRIS inventory?  Under Inventory click manage transfers.  Under Inbound Transfer click the Create Date of the order.  Verify the vaccine listed matches the vaccines received in the office, click Accept Transfer.

If you have any questions contact the Idaho Immunization Program (208) 334-5931 or the IRIS Help desk (208) 334-5995.
