Set Your Clocks, Check Your Stocks – Daylight saving time ENDS

For many of us, the end of daylight saving time means a few days of sleepiness, resetting clocks, and a changing of fire alarm batteries. This is also an opportune time to check and replenish your emergency preparedness kit. The American Public Health Association Get Ready: Set Your Clocks, Check Your Stocks campaign was developed to remind people to refresh their emergency supplies before a disaster occurs.
Emergency preparedness kits are invaluable during an unexpected man-made or natural disaster. You may be without electricity, refrigeration, clean tap water, or phone service for an extended period of time. At a minimum, you should have a three-day supply of food and water with one gallon of water per person per day.
