	View Article Current Articles \| Archives \| Search Back MEDICAID INFORMATIONAL LETTER 2006-43 posted on March 02, 2009 12:18 December 1, 2006 MEDICAID INFORMATIONAL LETTER #2006-43 Dear School Based Service Providers: We are informing providers of School Based Services of a rate increase in three of the procedure codes that should have been in effect July 1, 2006. The procedure codes are: 96101 from $57.93 to $59.32 96102 from $40.72 to $41.70 96103 from $25.38 to $25.99 Providers of School Based Services can bill using these new amounts and can adjust claims previously billed beginning with date of service July 1, 2006 in order to get the higher reimbursement amount. If you need to adjust previously billed claims, please follow these instructions: For Electronic Claims: When your claim is submitted via PES or other vendor software, previously paid claims can be voided and replaced electronically. The voided claim and the new claim will appear on the same Remittance Advice. Refer to your PES manual for instructions. For Paper Claims: Complete an Adjustment Request Form asking EDS to void the original claim.
