Mission
To actively promote and protect the health and safety of Idaho families through the promotion and support of breastfeeding.

 

Idaho and Healthy People 2010 Goals

 

Increase breastfeeding rates to:

  • 75% at hospital discharge;
  • 50% at 6 months postpartum; and 
  • 25% at 12 months postpartum.
