To actively promote and protect the health and safety of Idaho families through the promotion and support of breastfeeding.
Idaho and Healthy People 2010 Goals
Increase breastfeeding rates to:

75% at hospital discharge;

50% at 6 months postpartum; and

25% at 12 months postpartum.
